ARTIST STATEMENT

I often explain my paintings in terms of vibrations & sensations that occur in my subconcious mind. It's a subtle process of playing with nature's color & shapes, of smudging & continously building, creating brushstrokes guided by sensations, These images evolve naturally until they achieve a level of peace & harmony.

My medium is acrylic & watercolor. I view painting as a visual drama played on paper or canvas in which eye & brain connect with everyday events to produce a work that even surprises me. Everyday events & nature are my biggest source.

I have studied Fine Art at UCLA & received BFA from Cal State Northridge.Participated in numerious Juried & Gallery shows. Some work is part of International collection.
